Psychology of the human mind is my passion since I can remember, and my interest in zen and meditation practices continues for over 10 years already.
The integration of knowledge and personal experience is of utmost importance to me.
I graduated from the Institute of Applied Psychology at the Jagiellonian University. I specialized in Sports Psychology at the Academy of Physical Education in Cracow. I participated in international exchange programs, studying at the Dutch Radboud University, as well as doing an academic internship at the German German Sport University Cologne.
I acquired coaching competences during the post-graduate studies at the Tischner European University, obtaining the ACSTH certificate issued by the International Coach Federation.
I gained mindfulness teaching skills in the UK by participating in a two-stage certified Breathworks teacher training programme.
I see the teacher course as a symbol of the many years of personal mindfulness practice and many meditation retreats I have participated in.
I regularly participate in specialized psychological training, and my special area of interest is new forms of psychotherapy called third wave of behavioural therapy. I have expanded my knowledge and competences in such approaches as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Rational Behavior Therapy (RBT), Schema Therapy (ST), among others.
I am a co-founder of Smart Sport Foundation promoting psychology, mental health, and well-being. Actively engaged in the design and delivery of psychoeducational workshops.
I am a member of Association for Contextual Behavior Science (ACBS) being an international forum for ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) community.
